factors to give your website ranking, this might change over time. So think
like optimizing your website for a particular period of time as the techniques
that used to work well can change with the Google algorithm update. You should
keep trying and refine your efforts for site optimization.
We can break Google Algorithm in two main factors
On page optimization (Keyword Relevancy with page content)
We can summarize on page optimization on how, when and where
you should use your keywords in a webpage. Think like Google is blind and it
can only read your code. Your web page’s flash, look has no effect on Google.
It checks your code, finds the keyword relevancy for your webpage and index it
accordingly.
People usually search for 2 to 5 words phrase to find out
what they are looking for. Google in return finds the indexed webpage and looks
for the relevant web page which matches those search terms.
You should use 2 to 3 keywords in your webpage which has the
same meaning. This will give your webpage more credit and will help your
webpage to index faster in Google.
Websites that are highly optimized for on page factors, can
outrank less optimized but higher PageRank website
Note: Keyword relevancy is important but do not over
optimize your website for specific keyword as it will can generate negative
effect for your website.

Off page optimization (page importance factors)
This is all about quantity, quality and strength of the
links that point to your website.
Why other website’s web page pointing your website link is
important?
Before I give its answer I will say links are important but
on quality and relevant links.
How:
Google give PageRank according to the links pointing to a
website. Google believes if a website’s webpage is pointing other website’s
webpage link of same niche than it is considered as a vote for that website.
More the vote you get better is the chances of improving PageRank.
